Dear Region 234 Families,
I hope you and your players are doing well and enjoying the season. I’m reaching out today in my role as Search Chair for AYSO Region 234 to share an important update about our region’s leadership.
Our current Regional Commissioner will be stepping down, and we are beginning the process of selecting the next person to serve in this role. Like all AYSO positions, the Regional Commissioner position is 100% volunteer, and it plays a vital part in keeping our program running smoothly for more than 900 families.
The RC oversees day‑to‑day operations, supports our volunteers, ensures fiscal responsibility, and helps uphold the AYSO mission and values. It’s a meaningful leadership opportunity that directly shapes the experience of every player in our region.

This is an opportunity for candidates to share why they would like to serve as Regional Commissioner and for the voting members to ask questions before the election.
Region 234 thrives because of the dedication of our volunteers and the strength of our families. Stepping into the RC role is a significant commitment, but it is also an incredibly rewarding way to support our players and ensure our region continues to grow in a positive, safe, and fun direction.
